Live up to your values and stop making excuses for supporting animal cruelty!

Watch this video to learn more about the impacts your decisions have on animals. Remember – you have a choice, the animals don’t.

The Animal Rights Collective and peta2 will be hosting the Animal Liberation Project at GMU from October 5-8, 2009. This series of events will include a visual display, a vegan cooking class, and a film screening. Through a series of visual display panels, the Animal Liberation Project looks back at how we justified human exploitation throughout history, and continue to use the same excuses to justify the exploitation of animals today.

ALP Schedule:

Monday, 10/05: Easy Vegan Cooking Class. We will host a easy vegan cooking class featuring recipes from “PETA’s Vegan College Cookbook,” which teaches students how to make healthy and cruelty-free items with a few ingredients and a microwave. Check out some sample recipes.

Tuesday, 10/06: The Animal Liberation Project will be on the JC North Plaza, 11 am – 7 pm.

Wednesday, 10/07: Animal Liberation Project will be on the SUB I Main Quad, 11 am – 7 pm.

– Thursday, 10/08: The Animal Liberation Project will be on the JC North Plaza, 11 am – 7 pm. Then join us for a screening of “Liberation,” a longer version of the video clip featured above – 8 pm, SUB II Room 4.
