Johnson Center Cinema, George Mason University (Fairfax Campus, metro accessible). 7 to 9 pm (film 95 minutes) – FREE!

Come see this powerful and thought-provoking film about how humans use animals for food, clothing, entertainment, experimentation, and as pets. This documentary teaches us what animals endure every day for our lavish and selfish demands. They do not have the option to turn away from the truth, and neither should we. Please come and educate yourself. Narrated by Joaquin Phoenix. See previous posts below to watch the trailer.

Primate Liberation Week: October 17-24

PRIMATE LIBERATION WEEK PROTEST! Wednesday, October 21st, 4 to 6pm

In order to speak up for the 69,990 primates imprisoned in US labs for experimentation, some people from the DC animal rights community will be protesting the National Institute of Health (NIH). The NIH funds some of the most wasteful, appalling, and redundant testing on primates. This is an effort to demand that archaic methods of research are brought to a halt and replaced with the numerous alternatives to animal testing that are available.

Meet at Old Georgetown Rd & West Cedar Lane, Bethesda MD (accessible by metro). Bring comfortable shoes and a loud voice to speak up for those that are silenced.
